Reginelle are crumbly biscuits which in Palermo are also called "queen biscuits" or, in dialect, "viscotta 'nciminati" (biscuits with "cimino", i.e. with sesame seeds). They are classic Sicilian biscuits, with a characteristic aroma " smoked” sweetened, from time to time, by the sesame seeds sprinkled on the surface.
